Puna Music has just released
its first CD of world renowned guitarist Jeff
Ausfahl!
Jeff Scott Ausfahl
"Musicians have come to feel like very expensive bottles of wine,
tasted less and less
often."
Argentine/American, Jeff Scott Ausfahl has been active in the New York City music scene for over 30 years. He has played on numerous recordings, performed in the pit orchestras of many Broadway musicals, including Barnum, Sugar Babes and Cyrano, and played and recorded with the Radio City Music Hall Orchestra. He has performed live with greats like George Burns, Chita Rivera, Ruth Brown and Clint Holmes. He has also performed in the South Pacific, Australia and Europe, including a performance for Queen Elizabeth II of England.
Jeff received his Bachelor's degree from Berklee College of
Music as a pupil of Bill Levitt, and his master's degree from
Montclair University, majoring in classical guitar.
"My solos with guitar accompaniments were designed to be
performed in practically any setting. They work well at school
functions, in church, or as an encore for a college recital. As
the New York Times quoted me a few years ago: Musicians have
come to feel like very expensive bottles of wine, tasted less
and less often. I encourage you to play out every chance you
get."
